Our Client, a leading national finance firm based in Sydney CBD, is offering an outstanding opportunity for a motivated and technically minded individual to join their IT team as a Junior Desktop Support Trainee..
You’ll receive hands‑on training from experienced IT professionals while completing a FREE nationally recognised Certificate III in Information Technology—earning a full‑time wage while you learn.

About the Role
Working alongside an experienced IT team, you’ll gain practical experience across a wide range of technologies while supporting staff across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide desktop and end‑user IT support
- Assist with Microsoft 365, Teams and business applications
- Manage user accounts, passwords and system access
- Set up and maintain IT equipment and asset registers
- Prepare user guides and technical documentation
- Monitor backups and perform routine IT system checks
- Escalate technical issues to senior IT staff as required
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine interest in technology and IT
- Is technically minded and enjoys solving problems
- Has strong communication and customer service skills
- Is eager to learn and develop new technical skills
- Is reliable, organised and takes pride in their work
- Can work well independently and as part of a team
- Has basic computer knowledge and is comfortable learning new systems
Previous IT experience is not required—just enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and the right attitude.
