Business Development Manager - Building Products (Play & Aquatic)

PolySoft manufactures and distributes premium safety surfacing for playgrounds, splash pads and pool surrounds. Our products are on more than 1,000 projects across 40+ countries, including work with Disney, Warner Bros and leading hospitality brands.

Independent research from Western Sydney University shows our surfaces stay up to 20°C cooler than traditional alternatives.

We're hiring a Business Development Manager to own specification across eastern Australia. The product is proven, and the market position is yours to build. You'll run the territory, with the technical backing of a team that has manufactured and installed these products for over 15 years.

What you'll do

- Build and hold relationships with landscape architects, aquatic designers, consultants and councils
- Get PolySoft specified early, while projects are still being designed
- Run presentations and education sessions that make a technical product easy to specify
- Follow projects through tender and construction, supporting the contractors who install
- Manage the pipeline with discipline. Specification is a long game,



and the person who stays in touch wins the project
- Feed market intelligence back into product and pricing decisions

What you'll need

- One of these sounds like you:
- You've spent a few years selling building products and can point to specs or projects you won, or
- You come from landscape architecture or design, and you keep gravitating to the client-facing, commercial side of the work
- Either way, you'll need:
- The ability to take something technical and explain it simply
- Organised follow-up habits. Projects can run for years and the person who stays in touch wins the spec
- Comfort travelling your territory and presenting to design teams
- Appetite to learn the commercial side properly: pricing, tenders, distributors, contractors
- Knowledge of the play, aquatic or landscape sectors is a genuine advantage. Bring it up if you have it.
