We are seeking a conscientious Motel management couple or single for a recent 22 room motel located in Taree, NSW.

This is a live in position for a hands-on couple or single with key responsibilities including:

Responsibilities

- Manage daily motel operations, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations and guest enquiries.
- Coordinate housekeeping, room readiness, basic maintenance follow-up and overall property presentation including ordering linen & assisting cleaning staff when required.
- Support and supervise staff, including rostering, daily task allocation and performance follow-up.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, with a strong focus on service recovery.
- Monitor bookings, occupancy, online travel agency listings and basic operational reporting.
- Communicate regularly with owners or senior management about occupancy, issues and operational needs.




- Prepare Owner Reports including Daily Reconciliation Report & Weekly Property Statistics Report
- Maintain workplace standards for cleanliness, safety, guest privacy and professional conduct.
- Complete general maintenance tasks

Requirements

- Minimum 3-4 years regional motel, hotel, accommodation or hospitality management experience.
- Experience with GuestPoint property management system and online travel agency platforms.
- Experience managing guest reviews, housekeeping teams, suppliers or small property operations.
- Exceptional customer service skills & afocus and commitment to delivering high standards of service
- Professional presentation & friendly manner
