IWA is a not-for-profit organisation aiming at providing a wide range of services to the community. IWAA provides Aged Care, Disability Support Services, Community Development, and Settlement Support Services through the receipt of funding from the State and Federal Government.

About the role

We are looking for casual enthusiastic and caring home care employees to join IWA and make a difference in the life of our clients. You will be expected to:

Travel to client's homes

Provide domestic assistance in client's homes

Conduct Meal preparation for client's in their homes

Deliver personal care services to the client (if qualified)

Provide social support to the client with everyday activities and assist clients with appointments

Deliver services with care, diligence and compassion

Provide care in accordance with the Care plan of the client

Liaise and work collaboratively with our Aged Care Team

Prior experience in Aged Care or knowledge of providing care to vulnerable members of the community

Drivers licence

Willingness to travel/flexibility

First Aid/CPR

NDIS Clearance/Working with Children Check

Ability to speak a second language

Certificate 3 or above in Aged Care, Individual Support or Disability
