The Position
This Sales Planning Analyst is a full-time, permanent position, located in Cannon Hill, Queensland. Reporting to the Deputy General Manager - Sales Planning, the Sales Planning Analyst is responsible for analysing and reporting on internal and industry sales data, providing accurate reporting to support forecasting, strategy and broader business planning.
Key responsibilities include
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly and monthly sales and performance reports
- Analyse, interpret and report on industry sales performance and market trends
- Review vehicle sales data and support the forecasting of stock requirements
- Prepare monthly volume, strategy and funding reports
- Supply accurate and timely reporting to key stakeholders across the business
- Complete ad hoc reporting and analysis to support business requirements
Skills & Experience
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills
- Advanced Excel capability
- Previous experience in reporting, data analysis or a similar analytical position
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels
- Naturally curious with a willingness to learn and develop
- Previous experience within the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential
