Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead a broad portfolio spanning Finance, People & Culture, Governance, Risk, Information Technology and Corporate Services.

Working closely with the CEO, you will ensure the organisation has the financial discipline, systems, governance and business support required to deliver its strategic priorities and continue building organisational capability.

About You

You may come from either a Finance or People & Culture background, but you'll bring demonstrated experience leading a broad corporate services portfolio and partnering with senior leaders to improve organisational performance.

Whether your expertise has been built through finance or people leadership, you will be comfortable working across governance, business services,



technology, organisational improvement and strategic planning, drawing on specialist expertise within your team where required.

You will also bring:

- Significant leadership experience across corporate services within a complex organisation.
- Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated experience contributing to organisational performance, strategic planning and informed decision-making.
- Demonstrated success leading business improvement, organisational change and operational excellence.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- A collaborative leadership style with a genuine commitment to developing people and fostering high-performing teams.

In addition

- Applicants from a Finance background must hold CA or CPA qualifications.
- Applicants from a People & Culture background must hold tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, together with significant senior leadership experience.

Experience within regulated, government-funded, health, education, community or similarly complex organisations will be highly regarded.

Location

The successful candidate may be based full time in Mackay or, for the right candidate, elsewhere in Queensland, with regular planned travel to Mackay to maintain a strong on-site presence and build relationships with key stakeholders.
