Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Engineering Manager/ Lead Engineer to the join the AIR6500-1project. As theLead Engineering Manager/ Lead Engineer,you will be responsible to the Project Manager (Project Manager) for exercising functional authority for planning and delivery of JABMS capabilities within the applicable quality, cost and schedule constraints. In discharging these responsibilities, you will also be responsible to the Program Chief Engineer for ensuring compliance with the Program engineering governance and assurance plans and framework.

· Security clearance: Current active PV (Please note that if shortlisted, proof of active clearance is required with submission)
· Initial contract: as soon as possible till 30 Jun 2027
Responsibilities
· Assist Project Engineering Manager in formulating the engineering approach to the work to be performed and in undertaking detailed planning and estimating to establish the engineering work breakdown structure, project schedule and resource assignment.
· In collaboration with Strategic Partner Engagement Engineering Manager and the Agile Development Team support development, review,
update and continuous improvement of Strategic Partner’s capability delivery plans and provide oversight of implementation to ensure delivery of Materiel Releases is consistent with the approved Capability Delivery Roadmap.
· Lead and direct Matrix Leads to ensurethe product backlog is complete and adequately prioritized in order to achieve the intended capability effect IAW the relevant Capability Target State.
· Liaise with the Capability Manager team including the Agile Development Team and coordinate their involvement in applicable scope management forums (ERB, PTRB) as required to mitigate the risk to the fitness for purpose of the capabilities being delivered.
· Identify, review and assess Technical Risk across the project, support the Project Engineering Manager in related risk management and provide advice to the Chief Engineer on relevant matters related to Technical Risk.
· Develop or conduct review and assessment of plans, reports, procedures and/or artefacts related to the areas of responsibility as directed by the Project Manager.
· Manage and facilitate relationships and effective communications with the other Program Engineering leads and external stakeholders.
· Maintain an effective working relationship with other ADS Branch staff to ensure that there is effective coordination of all activities in support of organizational objectives
