Site Foreman - High-End Residential Builds

East Coast Built is a growing residential construction company based in the Sutherland Shire, specialising in architect-led new builds and renovations across southern Sydney. As we scale toward running multiple concurrent projects, we’re looking for an experienced Foreman to take day-to-day control of our sites and make sure every job is delivered to the standard our clients expect.

About the role.

This role requires you to be a working site foreman on the tools as well as leading the team.

You’ll be the site supervisor; running the program, coordinating trades, and making sure the build matches the drawings down to the detail. Our projects are architect-designed, mid-to-high end, and built to a standard well above volume home building, so this role suits someone who takes real ownership of a site and doesn’t need to be chased.

What you’ll be doing

- Running day-to-day site operations and coordinating subcontractors and trades
- Working onsite alongside the team
- Reading and working from architectural drawings, engineering details, and specifications
- Managing the site program and keeping the job on track against the build schedule
- Ordering materials and managing deliveries to suit sequencing
- Overseeing quality control and ensuring work meets ECB’s standard before sign-off
- Managing site safety,



WHS compliance, and toolbox talks
- Liaising directly with the director, clients, and architects as required
- Supervising and mentoring carpenters and apprentices on site

What we’re looking for

- Trade-qualified carpenter with proven experience running residential sites
- Strong track record on detailed, architect-designed residential projects
- Confident reading complex drawings and coordinating multiple trades
- Solid understanding of WHS requirements and site safety management
- High attention to detail and a low tolerance for work that’s not up to standard
- Strong communicator, comfortable dealing with clients and architects
- Well organised, proactive, and able to run a site with autonomy
- Current driver’s licence and own tools
- White Card essential; First Aid certificate highly regarded
