The IWC is looking for a full-time cleaner/ cafe attendant to deliver services within our Bundaberg and Gayndah Offices.

ABOUT IWC:

IWC is an Aboriginal community-controlled and multi-accredited health and wellbeing organisation that delivers services without discrimination to Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Bundaberg and the Wide Bay Burnett.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

This position will support the WHS Officer in the upkeep and maintenance of IWC properties. The appointed person will need to have availability from 7:00am until 9:00pm, with varied shifts dependent on duties required.

DUTIES:

Provide high-quality cleaning services across all IWC facilities and properties, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming setting for staff, clients, and visitors.

Work independently and collaboratively with other team members to complete cleaning and café duties in accordance with operational requirements and scheduled timeframes.

Prepare and serve food and beverages, including barista-made coffee and other hot drinks, in a timely and professional manner.

Welcome customers, manage queues, take and fulfil food and beverage orders, process payments accurately using cash and EFTPOS facilities,



and deliver orders where required.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Assisting with stock control, stocktakes and ordering of supplies as required.

Barista training or experience (desirable).

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, be reliable and self-motivated, and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

A current driver's licence is desirable or ability to obtain.

Food Safety Handling Certificate (essential) or ability to obtain.

A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD)* or ability to obtain.

A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain.

* No Card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work. IWC will cover the cost of this application for the successful candidate.

Your Salary Package is made up of the following: -

Salary Sacrifice Packaging valued up to $15,990 per annum - adding approximately $2,000 to your take-home pay (available after completion of probation).

Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum (available after completion of probation).
