At Turnkey Industrial Engineering, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and overseeing the installation of mechanical equipment and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for project management and technical support across various industrial engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with engineering principles and safety regulations.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of projects from concept through design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
- Interact with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions that meet their needs.
- Manage project resources and budget, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial guidelines.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and other departments to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and structural components.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Document technical data generated by the managed projects consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Project Engineer in an industrial setting.
- Robust understanding of mechanical processes and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
- Proficient in CAD software and MS Office; familiarity with project management software is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading teams and managing client relationships.
