Position Overview

Frensham Junior School is seeking experienced, highly qualified and dynamic Classroom Teachers to join the Frensham Schools community on a full-time basis from Term 1, 2027.

Frensham Junior School is the co-educational primary campus of Frensham Schools. The Junior School has a highly experienced team of staff and is set on a magnificent campus of 10 acres with outstanding specialist facilities for core and extra-curricular teaching and learning.

Teachers at Frensham Junior School are fully engaged in the individual care and educational support of students, both in and out of the classroom. They are responsible for highly developed, differentiated programs, ongoing, formative assessment and feedback and current best practice teaching and learning strategies.

Position Requirements

Appropriate teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation, with the willingness and flexibility to teach across Pre-K to Year 6 as needed.

Passion for working with students to build a positive learning environment where children thrive.

Thorough understanding of the teaching and learning cycle, including the role of assessment and feedback.

Capacity to use digital technologies purposefully to enrich student learning and engagement.

Ability to differentiate teaching and learning to meet the diverse needs of all learners.

Flexibility and enthusiasm for working as part of a highly professional and motivated team.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build warm, respectful and professional relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Strong organisational skills, professional judgement and reliability.

Willingness to contribute to the full life of Frensham Junior School, including appropriate co-curricular and whole-school involvement and professional learning.
