Nature’s Care is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to lead our QC Chemist team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a laboratory professional with strong technical expertise and leadership potential who is ready to progress into a supervisory position. This role will play a key role in supporting product quality, compliance, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Reporting to the QA Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the QC Chemists, ensuring all testing activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.

You will lead a team of QC Chemists, providing technical guidance, coaching and support while ensuring laboratory resources, equipment and systems and effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise and develop the QC Chemist team
- Coordinate laboratory testing on raw materials, bulk products, finished goods, stability samples and environmental monitoring programs
- Review and approve laboratory results, COAs and laboratory documentation
- Ensure all testing is conducted in accordance with GMP, TGA and company requirements
- Manage laboratory workloads, priorities, and resource planning to meet business requirements
- Oversee laboratory investigations including deviations, OOS, OOT, CAPAs and root cause analysis.
- Ensure laboratory equipment qualification, calibration, maintenance and servicing schedules are maintained.
- Support analytical method validation, verification and continuous improvement initiatives.




- Monitor laboratory KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance and performance.
- Assist with regulatory and audits.
- Maintain laboratory procedures, specifications and quality records.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability and continuous improvement

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Degree qualification in Chemistry, Science or related discipline
- Previous experience in laboratory leadership or supervisor role within supplements, complementary medicines, food, or related GMP regulated industries
- Strong knowledge of GMP, TGA and quality management systems
- Experience with analytical techniques including HPLC, GC
- Understanding of microbiological testing, environmental monitoring and laboratory controls
- Proven experience managing investigations, CAPAs, deviations and OOS results
- Solid leadership, communication, and team development skills
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
