Are you an experienced Architectural Draftsperson who understands the fine details of aluminium window and door systems? We are looking for a skilled Architectural Draftsperson to bridge the gap between architectural concepts and manufacturing reality.

In this role, you will translate architectural plans into precise workshop drawings, fabrication details, and cutting lists for our high-quality, custom aluminium window and door systems.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Drafting: Prepare accurate shop drawings, cross-sections, elevations, and interface details using CAD software.

Compliance & Coordination: Ensure all designs comply with the NCC/BCA and relevant Australian Standards (AS 2047, AS 1288, AS 1170.2).

Review plans, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with architects, builders, engineers, and our internal production team to resolve technical queries.

What You Need to Succeed

The Basics: An Advanced Diploma or Degree in Architectural Drafting, Building Design,



or a related discipline.

Experience: 4–5+ years of drafting experience specifically working with commercial or residential aluminium window/door systems (e.g., AWS, Capral, Alspec).

Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Experience with LogiKal, V6, or Revit/BIM is highly desirable.

Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of glazing systems, thermal breaks, waterproofing, flashing details, and interpreting wind ratings.

High attention to detail and the communication skills to talk to both high-end architects and factory floor fabricators.
