We are currently seeking an experienced Concreter to join our team. About the Role

You will be responsible for all aspects of concreting, from site preparation through to the finished product, ensuring every slab is completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Set out slabs accurately from plans and ensure all formwork is installed square and to specification.
- Install, brace and strip formwork.
- Prepare sites, including excavation, boxing, reinforcement and mesh placement.
- Screed concrete on flat, uphill, downhill and angled surfaces.
- Operate power trowel machines to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Install rebates in concrete where required.
- Deliver a variety of concrete finishes to an exceptional standard, including machine and hand finishes.




- Edge, groove, joint and finish concrete with attention to detail.
- Check levels, falls and dimensions to ensure compliance with plans.
- Work efficiently within a team to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite.
- Follow all Workplace Health & Safety requirements.

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Concreter.
- Demonstrated experience in residential and commercial concreting.
- Ability to independently set out and box slabs.
- Experience operating power trowels and other concreting equipment.
- Solid understanding of slab preparation, reinforcement and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Current White Card.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labour.
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.

Highly Regarded

- Excavator, Skid Steer or Forklift tickets.
- Experience with shed slabs and footings.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Ability to lead a small crew or mentor apprentices.
