The Role:
You will work closely with our engineering team and your team leader, who will in turn work with our drafting team to design and build high-quality components and structures that compliment Unidan’s commitment to excellence. A high volume of the welding that we do is TIG Welding of aluminium, and therefore the applicant should be competent in this field, as well as in MIG Welding. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on their quality of workmanship and their abilities. The successful applicant will be time effective and productive, without sacrificing quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder, with recent expertise in TIG and MIG welding essential.
- Tube Welding Experience (Desirable but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving high-quality finishes.
- Excellent time management skills and efficiency.
- Ability to work effectively within a team setting as well as autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with colleagues, supervisors, managers, and clients.
- Dependable, hardworking, and a positive, can-do attitude.

- The position is offered initially on a casual/trial basis working full-time hours, however we are looking for someone long‑term & for a full‑time position, with remuneration subject to experience and competence.
