Role Overview
An individual contributor and thought partner leading end-to-end predictive modeling and customer analytics for a strategic financial services engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Predictive Modeling: Build, validate, and optimize machine learning models, specifically travel propensity models and customer segmentation.
- Model Reviews & Feature Engineering: Perform post-mortem reviews on existing models, engineer new features, and boost overall model performance.
- Business Insights: Translate complex outputs into explicit, actionable target profiles and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Execution Focus:
Split workload ~80–90% on core modeling/segmentation and ~10–20% on ad-hoc analytics and AI discovery.
Key Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years with a Bachelor's Degree, 3+ years with a Master's, or 2+ years with a PhD.
- Technical Proficiency: Python or R, advanced SQL, and hands-on predictive modeling/machine learning.
- Analytics Domain: Customer analytics, portfolio segmentation, and behavioral profiling (cards, payments, or travel domain experience preferred).
- Communication: Strong problem-solving and analytical storytelling skills to influence cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Haves
- Databricks, Snowflake, Teradata, H2O.ai, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Applied AI or Generative AI discovery experience.
