Retail Manager ( Portfolio) Contract 8 Months

zParental leave cover role startingin September across a high-performing retail portfolio in Queensland and NewSouth Wales.

- Lead, mentor and support Retail Managers and centre teams, driving performance, culture and on the ground execution.
- Working closely with the Portfolio Manager, you'll help oversee more than 20 retail assets, support centre teams.

Who we're looking for?

- An experienced propertyprofessional with demonstrated experience in commercial or retail assetmanagement, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications in Property, RealEstate, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Current Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration (or the ability to obtain one) relevant to the state in which you are based.
- Sound knowledge of propertycompliance requirements, workplace health and safety, building operations, lease administration and asset management practices.
- A proven ability to build and maintain robust relationships with retailers, clients, onsite teams, contractors and internal stakeholders, establishing credibility and trust at all levels.

About the role

As Assistant Portfolio Manager, you'll support the day-to-day management of a multi-site retail portfolio across QLD or NSW. You'll work closely with Retail Managers, Centre Management teams, and key stakeholders to ensure assets are operating safely, efficiently, and commercially.

Key responsibilities

- Supporting the management of portfolio assets through regular site visits and engagement with centre teams.




- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, retailers, councils, and stakeholders.
- Managing escalated tenant matters and ensuring issues are resolved effectively.
- Overseeing portfolio processes such as sales reporting, insurance audits, risk and safety reviews, and compliance requirements.
- Reviewing lease documentation and preparing recommendations for the Portfolio Manager.
- Providing timely updates on priorities, risks, and emerging issues.
- Supporting portfolio operations during periods of leave or increased workload.
