About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Events Manager to manage the sales, planning and coordination of weddings, functions and events at Three Blue Ducks, Byron Bay & Three Blue Ducks Bellingen.

This role is responsible for managing event enquiries, sales, coordinating bookings, wedding planning and styling and delivering outstanding events that reflect the Three Blue Ducks experience.

You will oversee events from the initial enquiry through to the week of the event and handing over the execution to our operations team, working closely with the venue management team and kitchen to ensure every event runs smoothly.

This role suits someone who is highly organised, guest-focused and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing event enquiries and bookings for the Byron & Bellingen venue
- Coordinating weddings, corporate events, private functions and large group bookings
- Preparing event proposals,



quotes and confirmations & wedding styling briefs and quotes
- Liaising with guests to understand event requirements and deliver exceptional experiences
- Creating detailed event run sheets & floor plan and coordinating logistics with the venue team
- Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, chefs and operations team to deliver seamless events
- Managing event payments, deposits and confirmations
- Ensuring events are executed to a high standard of service and hospitality
- Maintaining accurate booking information in event and reservation systems

About You

- 4 Years previous experience in events management or hospitality events coordination
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple events at once
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly detail-oriented and proactive
- Confident working with guests, suppliers and internal teams
- Passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional experiences
