Pacific Furniture & Bedding is seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver with an MR licence, to join our logistics team on a permanent basis. The role is 4 days per week, with an additional day in many weeks. Based in Unanderra NSW 2526, this role is essential to our operations, ensuring that our products are delivered safely and on schedule to multiple customers throughout each delivery route. As a Multi Drop Delivery Driver, you will be the face of Pacific Furniture to our customers, delivering exceptional service whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key responsibilities
- Operate our trucks safely and efficiently across multiple delivery points on designated routes
- Load, secure and unload products from the delivery vehicle, ensuring goods are handled with care and delivered in perfect condition
- Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues or damage promptly
- Maintain comprehensive delivery records, including delivery confirmations, customer feedback and any incidents or delays
- Provide professional and courteous customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving delivery-related issues
- Comply with all traffic regulations, health and safety requirements,
and company policies whilst driving
- Assist in warehouse activities as required, including emptying containers and inventory management
What we're looking for
- Current and valid full Australian MR licence with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, vehicle maintenance and defensive driving practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple delivery stops and time management effectively
- Physical fitness and capability to lift and carry furniture items
- Reliable and punctual with a robust commitment to meeting delivery schedules
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service delivery
- Ability to work independently whilst following company procedures and guidelines
