The Plant House Collective is growing, and we're looking for enthusiastic, reliable people to join our team across a range of roles at our wholesale nursery in Thornlands.
We currently have opportunities available for:
Casual and Full-Time Nursery Staff
Supervisory Role
Whether you're experienced in the nursery industry or looking to kick-start your career through an apprenticeship, we'd love to hear from you.
If you have a passion for plants, enjoy working outdoors, and are eager to learn, this could be the perfect opportunity.
What you'll learn:
Nursery production
Plant care and maintenance
Pest and disease management
Stock control and dispatch
Customer service and wholesale nursery operations
Duties may include:
Potting, pruning, staking, feeding and weeding
Irrigation and watering
General crop maintenance
Labelling and stock organisation
Picking and preparing plant orders
Dispatch and distribution
General nursery and site maintenance
Occasional plant deliveries throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast
Staff management
We're looking for people who:
Have a genuine passion for plants and the outdoors
Are motivated, punctual and reliable
Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Can work both independently and as part of a team
Have valuable communication skills
Hold a current driver's licence | Mr Licence required for delivery role
Previous nursery experience is highly regarded but not essential for all positions. We welcome applications from those looking to build a long-term career in horticulture through an apprenticeship or hands-on industry experience.
