We're looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Accounts Receivable Officer to join our friendly finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in finance and accounting while gaining hands‑on experience in a supportive environment.

About the Role

As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you'll support the day-to-day accounts receivable function by processing customer payments, maintaining accurate records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with general finance administration. You'll also be responsible for reconciling company sales representatives' corporate credit card transactions and ensuring expenses are processed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Raise and distribute customer invoices.
- Process and allocate customer payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment discrepancies.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts in a professional and courteous manner.




- Assist with customer account enquiries.
- Reconcile sales representatives' corporate credit card transactions and ensure supporting documentation is received.
- Process and monitor employee expense claims where required.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing.
- Assist with month‑end accounts receivable tasks and reporting.
- Support the finance team with general administrative duties and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

- Cert IV in Bookkeeping or working toward it.
- Previous administration or accounts experience.
- A willingness to learn and develop a career in finance.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
