Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer specialising in the design, fabrication, and supply of high-quality steel infrastructure products used across the utilities, telecommunications, transport, lighting, and construction industries. With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service, they are continuing to grow and are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join their team.
As a Warehouse Assistant, you’ll play an important role in ensuring warehouse operations run safely, efficiently, and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming goods.
- Organise stock using First In, First Out (FIFO) principles.
- Maintain accurate stock control and participate in stocktakes.
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
- Ensure products are correctly labelled and stored.
- Assist with dispatch and general warehouse duties as required.
About You:

- Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Have good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks safely while maintaining a strong focus on workplace safety.
- Hold a current forklift licence
- Have previous warehouse, manufacturing, production, fabrication, or industrial experience (preferred but not essential).
