Active Futures is a fully accredited NDIS organisation that has created an outstanding and unique Men's Only Community Hub.
Located in the Penrith Area, the Active FuturesCommunity Hub provides a centralised location for men where they can learn life skills, socialise in planned activities, relax, connect with other like-minded people all in a fun, friendly, controlled and safe environment.
Active Futures is seeking to employ a number of casual Support Workers to work with and assist our participants that attend our Hub.
The primary responsibilities of our Support Workers will include:
The successful candidates will be required to have the following:
A minimum of 24 months of experience in a similar position within the disability sector.
Certificate 3 in Disability Services.
An ability to provide services to Participants in a caring, qualified and supportive manner.
An ability to engage effectively with Participants, their families and external support networks.
A proven ability to undertake and complete all relevant tasks in an efficient and productive manner.
General knowledge of the industry compliance requirements.
Suitable motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
