Executive Helicopters is a leading commercial helicopter operator providing a diverse range of aviation services across South East Queensland and South West Queensland. With operational bases in both regions, we deliver professional helicopter services to commercial, government and private clients, with safety, reliability and customer service at the core of everything we do.
We are seeking an experiencedCommercial Helicopter Pilotwho also holds aGrade 1 Flight Instructor Ratingto join our team based at our South East Queensland base.
This position is primarily a line pilot role with the added responsibility of conductinginternal training, proficiency checks and pilot developmentwithin the company. It is not a dedicated flight training position.
Travel between our operational bases and client locations may be required from time to time.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the successful applicant will be responsible for:
Conducting commercial helicopter operations in accordance with company procedures and CASA regulations.
Delivering internal pilot training, proficiency checks and standardisation activities.
Supporting pilot mentoring and ongoing professional development.
Maintaining the highest standards of operational safety and professionalism.
Completing operational documentation and company reporting requirements.
Contributing to a positive safety culture and continuous improvement within the organisation.
Representing Executive Helicopters professionally with clients and stakeholders.
Applicants must hold:
Commercial Pilot Licence (Helicopter) (CPL(H)) or Air Transport Pilot Licence (Helicopter) (ATPL(H)).
Grade 1 Helicopter Flight Instructor Rating.
Minimum 3,000 hours total helicopter flight time.
Current Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate.
Current Flight Review and Instructor Proficiency Check.
Sound knowledge of CASA regulations and operational standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
A strong commitment to safety, professionalism and teamwork.
The ability to travel as required to support operations across our South East and South West Queensland bases.
Experience in one or more of the following will be highly regarded:
Charter operations.
Utility and sling operations.
Fire, emergency services or government contract operations.
Experience operatingAirbus AS350 and EC130helicopters.
Operational leadership or pilot mentoring.
