We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Operator to join our production facility located in Narangba QLD.

Our company has over 35 Years of industry experience in Australia and are experiencing sustained growth in the market of Material handling. We are part of an international group with our head office located in Germany with employees exceeding 1100 worldwide.

- Full time employment.
- CNC programing (Desirable)

Qualification and skills

- Trade qualified as a Fitter/Machinist preferred but are willing to look at an unqualified person with a proven track record.
- Experience in CNC machining and operating.
- Programming ability or confidence in program alteration would be very desirable.
- Good understanding of the structure and flow of CNC programs.
- Have the ability to step through unproven programs (Desirable)
- Strong technical aptitude, be able to read and interpret drawings.
- Experienced in using micrometers,



bore gauges and verniers.
- Autonomous work ethic required with a mindset of managing your own cell and be a valuable team player.
- An understanding of machining fabricated parts would be advantageous.

The Role

- The successful applicant must be able to work closely with production coordinators and peers while being able to liaise with management and staff.
- Setup machines with jobs and tooling.
- Experience with Lathes and Milling very desirable.
- Look after tooling and material stock level and keep up maintenance schedules.
- Have good time management skills and understanding of Lean Manufacturing processes.
- Look after quality control in your area.
- A willingness to be cross trained between running Lathes and Mills.
