We are seeking a Retail Assistant to join the team at Pool Pro Wynnum Manly in Wynnum West, Queensland. This is a casual position that could transfer to a fulltime position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail environment. As a Retail Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our retail store. This position is perfect for individuals looking for casual work with the potential to develop their retail career.

What you'll be doing

Testing Water Samples and advising customers what their pools require, assisting with product enquiries and recommendations

Processing transactions at the point of sale with accuracy and efficiency

Processing invoices, stock orders and helping assign jobs

Restocking shelves and managing inventory levels throughout the store

Keeping the store clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety standards

Assisting with stock deliveries and unpacking goods as required

Answering phone and email enquiries with a helpful and professional manner

Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and objectives

What we're looking for

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers

A reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work, particularly given the casual nature of the role





Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Basic numeracy skills for accurate cash handling and till operations

Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods

A positive attitude and willingness to learn about our products and services

Availability to work varied shifts, including Saturdays

Experience in the pool industry would be and advantage but not essential
