Automotive Trainer and Assessor - Brisbane

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Trainer to deliver high-quality training and assessment to students undertaking automotive qualifications. This role is ideal for a skilled industry qualified who enjoys sharing practical knowledge and supporting learners to develop the skills needed for a career in the automotive industry.

About the role

As an Automotive Trainer, you will deliver training aligned with the relevant automotive training packages, ensuring learners gain the technical knowledge, practical skills, and safety awareness required for modern automotive trades.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver face-to-face and/or online automotive training and assessment
- Conduct practical and theoretical assessments in line with training package requirements
- Develop and maintain training and assessment materials
- Ensure compliance with RTO and regulatory standards




- Support and mentor apprentices and adult learners

About you

- Trade qualification in an automotive discipline (e.g. Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
- Current and relevant industry experience
- Training and Assessment qualification (TAE40122 or equivalent)
- Strong practical skills across automotive systems
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills

Desirable

- Experience delivering training within an RTO or TAFE
- Experience working with apprentices and adult learners
- Knowledge of WHS and industry safety standards
