The Role: What You’ll Own

As Pre-Delivery & Logistics Manager, you sit right at the pulse of our dealership network. You are the conductor connecting sales,



transport, trade suppliers, detailing, and final delivery.

Reporting to senior leadership, you'll oversee every stage of the vehicle preparation and logistics process, ensuring vehicles move efficiently from arrival through to customer delivery.

You’ll lead a dedicated team while working closely with Sales, Parts, Service, Transport providers and external suppliers to deliver outstanding operational performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Logistics & Fleet Movement: manage multi-site vehicle logistics, holding pads, and transport company relationships to keep stock moving swiftly and safely.
- Profitability & Cost Control: Identify and capitalize on upfitting/accessory profit opportunities while aggressively driving downturn-around times, sublet costs, and transport friction.
- Cross-Department Communication: Act as the primary bridge across our multiple brand sales managers, ensuring realistic, met, and exceeded delivery timeframes.
- Accessory & Parts Fitment Precision: Ensure 100% accuracy on every vehicle—every accessory, tint, protection pack, and part fitted right the first time before handover.
- Quality & Customer Experience: Safeguard the end-customer moment. Zero flaws, zero delays, zero excuses.
- Site & Asset Security: Oversee strict vehicle and key tracking/security protocols across all holding locations.




- Team Leadership & Performance: Direct, mentor, and hold accountable your detailing, fitment, and yard staff to high standards without compromising culture.

What We Are Looking For...

You don't need to be actively looking, but you do need to match this standard:

- Automotive Pre-Delivery / Logistics Mastery: Proven track record running high-volume PDI or logistics departments in a franchised dealership workplace.
- Relentless Organization: Exceptional administrative, scheduling, and inventory control habits.
- Strong Leadership Presence: Ability to command respect from yard teams, collaborate smoothly with sales managers, and hold third-party suppliers accountable.
- Eye for Profit & Process: Understands how saving 24 hours on turn time directly impacts the bottom line.
- Tech & Systems Savvy: Proficient in dealership management systems (DMS), vehicle tracking, and stock flow logistics.
- Driver's License: Current, clean Australian manual/automatic driver's license.
