Benchmark Hub Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our retail team on a part-time to full-time basis. This role is based in Leumeah, NSW 2560 and offers an excellent opportunity to develop your retail career within a dynamic, customer-focused workplace. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our tile and kitchen and bathroom showroom. This position is perfect for individuals looking for, part-time work whilst building valuable experience in the bathroom and kitchen design sector.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, responding to inquiries and assisting with product selections and quotes

Processing sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and handling cash and card payments

Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing retail environment, including making sure all displays are clean

Supporting the store team and meeting promotional objectives

Answering customer questions about product features, pricing and availability

Following company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines

Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation as required

Contributing to a positive team atmosphere and supporting colleagues during busy periods

What we're looking for





Previous retail or customer service experience is highly desirable

Someone committed to their work hours and roles (must be able to work on their committed days)

Robust communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Basic numeracy skills and comfort with point-of-sale systems

Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities

Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to adapt to changing retail environments
