ADW Johnson are looking for a senior planner with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in local or State government or consulting to join our multi-disciplinary Sydney team.

THE ROLE

Prepare statutory planning reports, including Statement of Environmental Effects, Planning Proposals, Environmental Impact Statements, planning due diligence assessments and general planning advice.

Represent the client and project at Council / Panel meetings, or at the Land and Environment Court.

Prepare, lodge, and monitor development applications, planning proposals (rezonings), and pre-DA/scoping reports.

Prepare fee proposals and tender submissions.

Undertake project management tasks, including managing applications, liaising with subconsultants, and coordinating project programs.

Manage and mentor junior staff.

OTHER SKILLS

Demonstrated experience in local / State government or consulting. Land and Setting Court experience desirable.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe software.
