Lake Macquarie Private Hospital is seeking Night Shift Registered Nurses to join a collaborative Medical/Oncology ward. Permanent full-time or part time positions are available.

About the Role

Join the inclusive team on Reid ward at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital who support the Oncology and Medical patient services, including the onsite Emergency Department and Lake Macquarie Cancer Centre. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care within an inpatient setting, supporting patients through cancer treatment, palliative care, and complex conditions.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.
- Monitor and assess patients, responding promptly to clinical changes.
- Assist with procedures and care planning.
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout treatment.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate documentation.

About You

- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- A passion for delivering compassionate, patient-focused care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Chemotherapy experience is preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced,



team-based environment.
