We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Fitter to support operations at our Rochedale site. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for maintaining equipment to ensure safe and effective operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems
- Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns
- Support improvement projects and equipment upgrades
- Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with CHEP standards
- Maintain workshop safety and uphold 5S standards
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance practices and equipment reliability
- Participate in site meetings and collaborate with operations teams
About You
- Trade qualified in mechanical disciplines
- Restricted Electrical License (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in industrial or production maintenance
- Experience working with Boilers (preferred)Experience working with a HACCP system (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Adaptable and solutions-focused approach
