- Provide guidance and direction to stakeholders to develop a shared understanding of ICT Portfolio management objectives.
- Provide assistance to projects and programs in the implementation of Benefits Management and compile information to report on the advantages being achieved to deliver the ICT and departmental strategies.
- Provide portfolio, program and project support by advising on the available standards, procedures, methods, tools and techniques.
- Evaluates project and/or program performance and recommends changes where necessary. Produce reports as appropriate for project, program and portfolio governance, including making recommendations for changes.
Other duties:
- Produce monthly Portfolio and pipeline reporting based on project and program status reports
- Perform other essential duties and tasks specific to the position as required.
Technical skills, abilities and cultural capability:
- Proficiency in portfolio and project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP) and governance frameworks.
- Ability to evaluate performance, monitor compliance, and recommend improvements.
- Advanced skills in analysing and interpreting data to produce clear, actionable insights.
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel and Power BI for reporting and visualisation.
- Skills in financial management, resource planning and prioritisation to contribute to planning and reporting activities.
- Ability to assess competing priorities and recommend optimal approaches to achieve organisational goals.
