About the Prospect

We are seeking a qualified Supervising Exploration Geologist (ideally based in Brisbane).The role has Residential, DIDO and FIFO options available and is intended for someone seeking a long-term position with longstanding clients, and well-established teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape your career and grow your experience, helping to deliver major coal exploration projects for our clients.

Role responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the coordination and execution of all activities related to exploration programs (planning, scheduling, earthworks, drilling, geophysical logging, monitoring and rehabilitation);
- Providing leadership, training and mentoring to field geologists;
- Fostering open, professional and timely communication across project teams to support collaboration, problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Contractor Management;
- Geological and geotechnical logging and sampling;
- Geological and geotechnical data entry, geophysical corrections, QAQC, data validations and database management;
- Ensuring SHMS awareness and compliance; and,
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders on exploration program activities.

About the Applicant





The ideal applicant will have:

- Prior experience as a Supervising Exploration Geologist would be advantageous.
- Theoretical knowledge of coal geology, with practical site-based experience.
- Confidence in a client facing role, with a passion for building trusted client relationships.
- A charismatic, values-driven personality with a desire to work collaboratively as part of a thriving team culture.

In addition, we expect you to have:

- Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship.
- A Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geology or other relevant tertiary qualification.

Above all else, you must have a positive attitude, a strong focus on health and safety, and show initiative in solving problems and implementing improvements.

The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills, as well as strong client relationship skills. Proficiency in the use of software such as LogCheck, GeoBank, AcQuire, Vulcan and Excel will be highly regarded.
