Python (Django) Engineer, Core Platform Team

Customers like HUB24 and Storage King use Zudello to process tens of thousands of documents every month with minimal human touch.

The job

We are looking for a Python engineer to join our Core Platform team. You'd build and maintain the backend services, APIs, and shared libraries that the rest of the product depends on. Django, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ.

You'll work with product, engineering, and implementation teams. The work is practical: somebody needs a new API, a queue consumer breaks under load, a shared library needs a cleaner interface.

What you'd do

Build and maintain backend services and APIs in Python/Django





Work on core platform architecture (we care about things actually scaling, not just calling them "scalable")

Write real tests, not just coverage for its own sake

Turn business requirements into backend systems other teams build on

Debug production issues, fix bottlenecks, keep services reliable

Write documentation that's actually practical six months later

Collaborate across product, engineering, implementation, and consulting

What we're looking for

Solid Python experience, ideally Django

You've built REST APIs, background jobs, and backend systems in production

Think about systems as a whole: how pieces connect, where things will break

Notice edge cases before they become incidents

Want to keep getting better, including picking up new tools and workflows

Communicate clearly with engineers and non-engineers
