We are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to support warehouse and logistics operations within a specialized industrial equipment environment. This role is responsible for the safe receipt, storage, handling and dispatch of equipment, components and spare parts while maintaining inventory accuracy and high safety standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with operational, service and logistics teams to ensure materials are available to support customer and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and process incoming goods and materials.
- Pick, pack and prepare orders for local, interstate and international dispatch.
- Load and unload deliveries using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete regular stock counts.
- Ensure all materials are correctly identified, labelled and stored.
- Process warehouse transactions through inventory management systems.
- Coordinate freight bookings and shipment documentation.
- Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all workplace health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Support urgent operational requirements and project-related logistics activities.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, stores or industrial environment.
- Experience handling mechanical equipment, industrial parts or technical components is highly regarded.
- Forklift License (LF) required or highly desirable.
- Robust inventory control and stock management experience.
- Ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders and shipping documentation.
- Competent computer skills with ERP or warehouse management systems experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Current Australian Driver's License.
