Experienced Civil Machine Operators (5+ Years Experience)

McNaught Earthworks is a growing civil and earthmoving contractor delivering bulk earthworks, roadworks, subdivisions, dam construction and rural earthmoving projects throughout the Central West of NSW.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking four experienced, reliable and safety‑focused Civil Machine Operators to join our team, with positions available progressively through to the end of August.
If you have at least 5 years' experience operating a range of civil construction machinery and experience transporting plant using a float and are looking for long‑term employment with opportunities to grow as our business expands, we'd like to hear from you.
About the Role
You will be working across a variety of civil and earthworks projects, operating modern, well‑maintained equipment while delivering work safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
The role includes operating a range of plant and equipment, as well as loading, unloading and transporting plant between projects using our float.

- 5T to 25T Excavators
- Graders
- Water Carts
- Rollers
- Truck and Dog Combinations
- Float
Must have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience operating civil construction machinery.
- Demonstrated ability to operate multiple machine types.
- Demonstrated ability to load, unload and transport plant using a float.
- Current Construction White Card.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Willingness to work away from home when required.
Highly regarded:
- HR, HC or MC Driver Licence.
- Excavator, Grader, Skid Steer or Roller competency.
- Experience operating Truck and Dog combinations.
- GPS Machine Control experience (Topcon, Trimble or Leica).
- First Aid Certificate.
