Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and quotations for sheet metal fabrication and machining projects.

- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements to determine material, labour and manufacturing costs.

- Coordinate customer projects from quotation through to delivery, ensuring timelines and customer expectations are achieved.

- Liaise with Production, Engineering, Procurement and Quality teams to ensure projects progress efficiently.

- Obtain supplier pricing for materials and outsourced services.

- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

- Maintain accurate project documentation, quotations, revisions and correspondence.

- Assist with production scheduling by providing accurate lead times and project priorities.

- Develop long-term relationships with customers by providing professional technical and commercial support.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that improve estimating accuracy and project delivery.

What We're Looking For

We encourage applications from:

- Experienced Estimators or Project Coordinators within manufacturing; or

- Qualified Sheet Metal Workers, Machinists, CNC Programmers or similar tradespeople looking to transition into estimating.

You will also have:

- Experience within sheet metal fabrication, machining or general manufacturing.

- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.





- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Epicor experience is advantageous).

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
