Katarzyna Group P/L is seeking an experienced Gaming Manager to join our team in Fortitude Valley.

This is a full-time position that offers a strategic opportunity to oversee gaming operations and ensure the highest standards of service, compliance, and customer experience within our hospitality venue.

As Gaming Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue, maintaining regulatory compliance, and creating an engaging environment for our gaming patrons. You will report to senior management and be responsible for the day-to-day management of gaming facilities and staff.

Key responsibilities

Oversee daily gaming operations, including monitoring gaming machines, ensuring proper functionality, and maintaining accurate records

Manage gaming staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure exceptional customer service

Enforce strict compliance with gaming regulations, legislation, and responsible gaming policies across all operations

Implement and maintain security protocols to protect assets, prevent fraud, and ensure a safe environment for patrons and staff

Monitor gaming revenue, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports for management review

Conduct regular audits of gaming equipment and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance

Address customer complaints and resolve gaming-related issues in a skilled and timely manner

Liaise with regulatory bodies and licensing authorities to maintain operational standards and comply with gaming regulations

Develop and implement strategies to optimise gaming revenue whilst promoting responsible gaming practices

Train staff on responsible gaming protocols, customer service standards, and emergency procedures

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Gaming Manager or in a similar management role within the hospitality and gaming industry

In-depth knowledge of gaming regulations, legislation,



and responsible gaming requirements applicable to Queensland venues

Strong understanding of gaming machine operations and electronic gaming systems

Demonstrated experience in staff management, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation

Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyse gaming revenue data and prepare accurate reports

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively

Experience with point-of-sale systems and gaming management software

Knowledge of security protocols and asset protection procedures

Current or ability to obtain all necessary gaming industry licenses and certifications

Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

A commitment to promoting responsible gaming and understanding problem gambling indicators
