About the Role:

We are looking for an organized and energetic Kitchen Hand to take charge of our food offerings! You will be the engine of our kitchen, running a streamlined, delicious menu utilizing our two Merrychef ovens. If you are comfortable handling food, thrive on keeping your workspace tidy, and love the fast‑paced energy of a cafe environment, you will be a perfect fit for our team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Food Preparation: Prep fresh ingredients daily and assemble our signature sandwiches and small menu items.
- Cooking & Plating: Master our two Merrychef ovens to cook and heat menu items quickly, ensuring everything looks and tastes great.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Tackle the dishes, sanitize workstations, and ensure the kitchen stays spotless and compliant with health standards throughout the day.
- Team Support: Multitask effectively and jump in to help the front-of-house crew or other team members wherever an extra pair of hands is needed.

What We Are Looking For:

- Kitchen Confidence: Comfortable working with food and kitchen equipment, with a solid understanding of basic food hygiene and prep.
- Master Multitasker: The ability to juggle prep work,



incoming orders, and cleaning tasks without missing a beat during a busy lunch rush.
- Detail‑Oriented: A strong commitment to cleanliness and presenting food beautifully every single time.
- Team Player: A flexible, “can‑do” attitude with a willingness to pitch in wherever the cafe needs you most.

Your duties will include.

- Provide efficient food and beverage service
- Kitchen duties for small menu cafe - light prep, heat and serve
- Work front of house, engaging with customers, and maintaining the ambiance and cleanliness of the cafe
- Experienced Barista (appreciated)
- Multi-task effectively during peak trading periods
- Encourage team values and work as part of a outstanding team

Skills & Experience:

- Food preparation and food handling
- Use the point of sale system and cash handling duties
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained
- Maintaining a safe environment at all times
