The Opportunity

As our Design Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating joinery design information across multiple projects. Your focus will be on ensuring drawings, documentation,



approvals, and technical information are delivered accurately, on time, and in a format that sets downstream teams up for success.

You'll proactively identify risks, coordinate stakeholders and remove design-related bottlenecks so projects can move smoothly from design to production.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Documentation Coordination

- Coordinate and manage joinery design information and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

- Review architectural and interior design documentation to assess buildability and identify potential issues early.

- Prepare, issue, and maintain shop drawings and production-ready documentation.

- Manage drawing registers, version control, and documentation workflows to ensure accurate information is always available.

- Compile and coordinate complete information packs for downstream teams, including check measure and engineering documentation.

- Facilitate showroom consultations and occasional on-site design and colour selection meetings.

Project Coordination & Acceleration

- Track design progress against project programs and actively support Project Managers in maintaining project momentum.

- Coordinate approvals, responses, revisions, and design milestones to ensure projects are released to production on schedule.

- Attend project and design meetings, capture actions and ensure commitments are followed through.

- Monitor outstanding deliverables and proactively elevate issues before they impact timelines.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the central point of coordination between Estimating, Engineering, Project Management, Procurement and Production teams.
