Pay Rate / Salary Package
Based on a 57.5-hour week, the package is structured as:
Estimated weekly earnings: $3,998.40
Estimated annual earnings: $207,916.80 + super
The Role
Working within the maintenance team, you'll play a key role in executing planned maintenance, equipment upgrades and reliability improvements across a busy industrial site.
The role offers exposure across both heavy fixed plant and mobile plant equipment within a workshop and production environment.
Day to day you will be involved in:
- Preventative maintenance and planned maintenance activities across heavy plant and processing equipment
- Shutdown maintenance, equipment rebuilds and reliability improvement projects
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant upgrades
- Fault finding, servicing and maintenance on heavy fixed plant and mobile plant equipment
- Supporting continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives
- Workshop-based repairs, fabrication support and onsite maintenance activities
Requirements
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or similar
- Experience within heavy industry, recycling, manufacturing, mines or tunnels
- Exposure to heavy fixed plant and/or mobile plant equipment
- Strong preventative maintenance and reliability maintenance experience
- MIG & stick welding exposure highly regarded
- High Risk tickets highly desirable: EWP, Forklift & Confined Spaces
