The Company:
Our client is a private real estate investment group providing capital to property development projects and real estate assets across South East Queensland. Backed by decades of property and investment experience, the business has supported a significant portfolio of projects across multiple asset classes and continues to partner with established developers to deliver growth opportunities throughout the region.
With a hands-on and relationship-driven approach, the business works closely with developers, lenders and industry stakeholders to structure funding solutions across a diverse range of opportunities. Operating with private capital, the group is able to assess investments efficiently and take an active role in supporting project success.
The Role:
Reporting to and working very closely with the Investment Director, you will support the assessment, execution and ongoing monitoring of investments across the portfolio.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Build and review financial feasibility models for development and investment opportunities, including scenario analysis and return metrics
- Conduct property and market research, including sales evidence, planning controls and supply and demand analysis
- Support due diligence processes across developers, borrowers and investment partners
- Prepare investment analysis, summaries and recommendations to support investment decision-making
- Assist with the assessment and structuring of investment opportunities
- Support funding and transaction processes, including coordination with legal and external advisors
- Monitor portfolio performance, including construction progress, drawdowns, project costs, repayments and distributions
- Prepare portfolio updates, investment reporting and management information
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of analytical tools, reporting frameworks and internal processes
The Successful Candidate:
- Degree qualification in Property, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline
- 5+ years' experience in property development, real estate finance, investment analysis, corporate finance or property advisory
- Strong financial modelling skills with advanced Excel capability
- Experience analysing property feasibilities, development projects or investment opportunities
- Strong analytical and research skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to analyse complex information and communicate insights clearly
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, team-oriented and self-motivated approach
