About the Role

APG Workforce is currently seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Officer - Vehicle, Claims & Compliance (Insurance) for an immediate start based in Parramatta with NSW Trustee and Guardian.

This is a full-time contract through to 3 November 2026, working 35 hours per week. The role is initially office-based, with the chance to transition to a 50/50 hybrid work arrangement after 2-3 months, once able to work independently.

Working within the Property Services team, you will manage complex property and vehicle insurance claims, coordinate repairs and restoration works, and provide expert advice to customers and stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage home, contents, strata and vehicle insurance claims from lodgement through to resolution.
- Coordinate repairs, restoration works and insurance-related activities.
- Liaise with insurers, contractors, strata managers and other service providers.
- Provide advice and support on complex insurance matters and dispute resolution.




- Maintain regular communication with customers and stakeholders throughout the claims process.
- Review complex insurance matters, inspections and compliance reports.
- Ensure claims are managed in accordance with legislation, policies and organisational procedures.
- Support and mentor Property Officers on complex cases.
- Identify opportunities to improve claims processes and service delivery.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Experience managing complex property and/or vehicle insurance claims.
- The ability to interpret insurance contracts and manage high-volume caseloads.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating external contractors and service providers.
- A customer-focused approach, with the ability to work sensitively with vulnerable or older people.

Essential Requirements

- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in property insurance claims.
- Proven experience managing complex insurance portfolios.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to participate in quality assurance activities, including call and email monitoring.
- Two recent work references.
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
