The Role
Based out of our Carole Park facility this fixed term role will be responsible for overseeing the inventory of spare-parts and consumable items to support manufacturing operations across the business. This position will be liaising with the production, technical, engineering and logistics teams and will build strong relationships with external providers. This role would suit someone with a background in a similar position ideally in the maintenance division.
Please note this position is a fixed term role for up to a 6-month period with the potential for extension, working 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday 38 hours per week.
Tasks will include:
- Catalogue of all stock and parts kitting
- Ordering and managing stock levels based on minimum re-order quantities
- Cycle counts and stock takes
- Managing inwards and outwards goods
- Raising purchase orders for non-stock items
- Maximising storage space and managing stock locations
- Working according to best practice 6S
About you:
- Prior experience working with inwards goods and parts identification
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of 6s safety standards understand and application
- Experience in CAD, QAD and MEX (Desirable but not essential)
