We are seeking a detail-focused Senior Accountant to support the delivery of accurate financial, statutory and regulatory reporting, internal controls, audit preparation, budgeting and financial analysis and accounting operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, you will play an important role in maintaining strong financial controls, supporting key reporting obligations, undertaking financial analysis, audit preparation and contributing to continuous improvement across the finance function.

What You’ll Be Doing

Support month-end activities, including journals, accruals, reconciliations and balance sheet substantiation.

Prepare monthly financial reports, management reporting packs, variance analysis and supporting commentary.

Lead year end audit process, including preparing financial report disclosures, audit support preparation and liaising with audit team.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting,



cash flow analysis and financial modelling.

Support statutory and regulatory reporting obligations, including BAS, FBT, APRA/RBA/ABS-related reporting where required.

Maintain and reconcile asset register and support tax, audit and year-end processes.

Support internal controls, financial governance and audit preparation and readiness.

Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide timely, practical financial information.

Contribute to projects, automation and continuous improvement initiatives in a safe, controlled and responsible way.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role.

Strong time management skills, with explicit and confident written and verbal communication.

Ability to work with auditors, internal stakeholders and senior leaders in a professional and responsive way.

Maintain high standards of confidentiality, privacy, information security and compliance at all times.

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, Commerce or a related discipline.

CA/CPA qualification, or working toward CA/CPA, highly regarded.

Strong Excel capability and confidence working with accounting, ERP or core business systems.

High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Ability to work with auditors, internal stakeholders and senior leaders in a professional and responsive way.
