Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker looking for a rewarding role supporting participants with complex needs?

Community 3SIX5 is a registered NDIS provider delivering high-quality, person-centred disability support across Queensland.

We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our growing team, providing person-centred support to participants in Victoria Point and Wellington Point.

About the Role

Our participants have a range of complex support needs, which may include:

High-intensity support needs

High physical support needs

Complex and challenging behaviours

Epilepsy and other complex medical conditions

Implementation of Positive Behaviour Support strategies and Behaviour Support Plans

Working within structured 1:1 and 2:1 support environments

This role requires someone who is calm, resilient, professional, and committed to providing protected, respectful, person-centred support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide person-centred support in participants' homes and within the community

Assist with personal care and daily living activities

Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies and Behaviour Support Plans

Support participants with complex physical and behavioural support needs

Promote independence, choice, dignity, and community participation

Complete accurate shift notes and required documentation

Work collaboratively with families, Support Coordinators, therapists, and the wider support team

To be successful in this role, you will have:





Demonstrated experience supporting participants with high-intensity support needs

Experience supporting participants with complex or challenging behaviours

Experience supporting participants with seizures or epilepsy

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

Current Driver Licence

Reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance

Availability to work across a 7-day roster

Highly Regarded

The following skills, experience and training will be highly regarded:

Experience supporting participants with epilepsy or other complex medical conditions

Medication competency

MAYBO training

Experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans

Mental health or psychosocial disability experience

Experience supporting participants requiring 1:1 and 2:1 support

High-risk or crisis intervention environments

Experience managing challenging situations, maintaining safety, using effective communication and de-escalation techniques, and remaining calm under pressure will be highly valued.

Available Shifts

We offer a variety of shifts across a 24/7 roster, including weekdays, weekends, inactive overnight (sleepover) shifts, and public holidays. Flexible availability is highly regarded.

Regular casual hours are available for the right applicants.
