As the organisation continues its transformation journey, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Commercial Finance to lead a high-performing commercial finance function and partner with executive stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.
This is a highly visible leadership role for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys influencing business outcomes, leading change and developing high-performing teams.

Position
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will lead the commercial finance and FP&A; function, providing strategic financial leadership across a complex, enterprise-wide portfolio. You will work closely with executive leaders to influence investment decisions, improve financial performance and support the delivery of major strategic initiatives.
This role goes well beyond traditional financial reporting, requiring a finance leader who can translate financial data into meaningful commercial insights that shape organisational strategy.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with Executive and senior business leaders to influence strategic and commercial decision-making.
- Lead the organisation's FP&A; function, delivering insightful analysis, forecasting and performance reporting.
- Develop compelling financial narratives that enable informed executive and Board decision-making.
- Lead capital investment planning and support the evaluation of major investment initiatives.
- Drive commercial growth through financial analysis, business case development and strategic advice.
- Partner across multiple business functions to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Lead finance transformation initiatives,



embedding best practice processes and capabilities.
- Continue the uplift of finance systems, reporting tools and planning capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement across financial planning, reporting and decision support.
- Build, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Profile

You are a commercially focused finance leader with the ability to influence at the executive level and lead through change.

You will bring:

- CA or CPA qualification.
- Proven experience leading commercial finance and FP&A; functions within large, complex organisations.
- Strong cross-functional business partnering experience with Executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success leading finance transformation and organisational change.
- Experience developing capital investment plans and evaluating strategic investments.
- Exceptional commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and improve business performance.
- Strong leadership experience with a track record of uplifting capability and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience implementing new finance systems, reporting solutions or planning tools.
- Advanced financial modelling, forecasting and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to transform complex financial information into transparent, compelling stories that influence decision-making.
