Within this position, you’ll play a crucial role in preventing defects, ensuring safety, and validating that installations are eligible for incentives. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that components, installations, and operational systems comply with strict Australian Standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and industry-specific standards.
Conduct inspections and audits of solar panel installations (including pile and structure), electrical systems, and civil works to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
Assist in the development and review of quality documentation, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Work Instructions.
Assist in producing transparent, accurate weekly and monthly operational reports.
Investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality reports.
Support commissioning and handover processes by ensuring all quality documentation is complete and accurate.
Collaborate with engineering, construction, and HSE teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
Identify and provide training to ensure workforce understand and implement correct installation methods and quality procedures
