Our facility includes:

- 2800m² of workshop space and 400m² of office space
- A 40T overhead crane 5T and 3T jib cranes on one side.



This crane provides our employees the opportunity to work on heavier, more complex DES plant compared to other workshops.
- A 10T crane and a 3T crane for smaller tasks on the other side
- 12 dedicated bays for diesel repairs, with at least 5 bays for larger plant and equipment such as LHDs and chock carriers
- 3 dedicated bays for the overhaul and repair of drilling equipment, component overhauls, and hydraulics

Role and Responsibilities:

- Adhering to all safety policies and company procedures
- Fault finding and diagnostics of drill rigs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and diesel equipment
- Conducting inspections and generating reports on equipment
- Completing job order forms and reports
- Performing daily tasks as required

Skills and Experience Required:

- Certificate III Mechanical Fitter qualification or similar
- Code D inspections and installation (preferred)
- Sound knowledge and experience with mining equipment
- Ability to read and understand schematics and drawings
- Proficiency with measuring equipment
- Cert 11/111 in Hydraulic or Pneumatic experience
- A current driver's licence and own vehicle

Personal Attributes:



The personal attributes we are looking for must have a passion for what they do which is an experienced DES Fitter/Plant Mechanic. This role is dynamic and ever-changing, much like the overhauls on our machines. It requires someone who is not looking for quick fixes or rushing to complete tasks in a day. Instead, you will ensure that each machine meets all new required standards before it leaves the workshop and returns to site. You must take ownership and pride in your work, have the ability to work autonomously, strong communication skills, have high quality standards and attention to detail.
